Terms

Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-01-15

These Terms govern the use of the Pegasus Way booking platform. By using the platform you declare that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Account and credentials

To book you can register an account with truthful, up-to-date data. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Immediately notify [email protected] of any unauthorized access. You may not create multiple accounts for the same person or transfer your account to third parties.

2. Bookings

Bookings are subject to real-time availability and host conditions. The stay contract is formed upon host confirmation (request-to-book listings) or immediately upon payment (instant-book listings). Until confirmation, the platform holds the dates for a maximum of 15 minutes.

3. Cancellation policies

Each listing applies one of the following policies, made explicit at checkout: Flexible (full refund up to 24 hours before check-in); Moderate (full refund up to 5 days before); Strict (50% refund up to 7 days before); Non-refundable (no refund). Force majeure cases are evaluated individually.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. The checkout total includes stay price, cleaning, tourist tax, and any extras. We do not store credit card data: the platform is outside PCI-DSS scope. Receipts and invoices are available in the Bookings section.

5. Host obligations

The host agrees to: provide truthful descriptions; guarantee availability of confirmed dates; comply with minimum safety and hygiene standards; promptly communicate any disruptions. Non-compliance may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

6. Guest obligations

The guest agrees to: respect house rules; use the accommodation diligently; not exceed the number of guests declared in the booking; not sublet; report any damage. Damage caused will be charged up to the value of the security deposit, if provided.

7. User content

Reviews, photos, messages, and other content you publish remain your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish them on the platform. You agree not to publish illegal, offensive, defamatory content or content that violates third-party rights.

8. Limitation of liability

The platform acts as an intermediary between hosts and guests. We are not party to the stay contract nor do we respond to disputes between the parties except as required by Italian and EU law. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount of the disputed booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account for Terms violations, fraudulent conduct, or authority requests. We'll give you written notice and, when possible, a cure period. You can close your account at any time from settings.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute the competent court is Florence, subject to consumer rights to bring proceedings in their place of residence under the Italian Consumer Code. Alternatively you may use the European Commission ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
